About Wilhelm Becker
Wilhelm Becker GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1910 and has been active in metal forming for over 110 years. At its Mettmann site, around 98 employees develop and produce technical springs, stamped and bent parts as well as complete assemblies made from wire and strip according to customer specifications. Wire production is carried out on CNC wire bending machines and conventional spring coiling machines, strip production on mechanical and hydraulic presses as well as stamping and stamping-bending machines; in 2025 the machine park was extended with a stamping-bending system from Bihler. In addition to forming, the company offers assembly services – depending on lot size as an individual work step, semi-automatically or fully automated – and accompanies projects from prototype development to series production. With a zero-defect strategy and a quality and environmental management system certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949, the company supplies primarily the automotive industry and is active in exports.
