About Wilk-Graphite
Wilk-Graphite supplies equipment for corrosive media to the chemical process industries (CPI). The product range includes cylindrical and rectangular graphite block heat exchangers, shell-and-tube graphite heat exchangers, sulfuric acid diluters, HCl synthesis burners, graphite column internals and graphite reactors, which accelerate processes through rapid heat input and removal without metal contact. In addition, the company offers pressureless-sintered silicon carbide heat exchangers (SSiC) with the highest thermal, chemical and abrasive resistance as well as carbon-fiber-reinforced tubes. With the ExtrAcid system, the company concentrates sulfuric acid of any starting concentration to 99.3% at reduced capital and operating costs; the ASKR screw crystallizer/reactor was awarded the ACHEMA Prize 2018. In a joint venture with Nantong Sunshine, metallic pressure vessels, apparatuses and shell-and-tube heat exchangers are also produced to German engineering standards with manufacturing in China. The apparatuses are manufactured to international standards and are used in many hundreds of applications. The company is based in Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg.
