Plastics processing in a family tradition since 1923
Willfried Mende GmbH manufactures technical plastic parts and assemblies in injection molding and accompanies projects from the initial design through to stable series production. The services include design-for-manufacturing part development with CAD/CAM, FEM simulation and injection molding simulation, prototyping using 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS) and vacuum casting, in-house injection mold making with CNC machining, and series production for small and large volumes. The materials processed include thermoplastics and thermosets such as PA, PBT, PC, POM, PPS, PEEK, ASA/PC, glass-fiber-reinforced plastics, phenolic, melamine and epoxy resins as well as electrically conductive plastics; offered processes include 2K injection molding, micro injection molding and insert technology. Customers come from the automotive industry, electrical engineering, appliance manufacturing, and mechanical and plant engineering. The family-owned company, whose origins date back to the Radio Mende brand (1923), produces in Klingenberg in Saxony and supplies customers in Germany and beyond. Production is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
