Wolfgang Kroner Werkzeugbau e.K. is a medium-sized company based in Werdohl in the Sauerland region, specializing in the manufacture of precision tools for cold bulk forming. The focus is on carbide and HSS tools for the forming of screw blanks, bolts and rivets, as well as pressing tools for the production of ceramic rings for stud welding. The product range includes gripping, extrusion and drawing dies, die inserts, finished punches, head and pre-upset punches, head sleeves, quill dies, as well as cutting punches and cutting bushings for cutting and punching technology. Production is carried out CNC-controlled and conventionally using processes such as cylindrical, profile and surface grinding, turning, milling, EDM, honing and polishing; on request, the tools are coated with TiC/TiN by CVD. In addition to standard products, the company develops special tools according to customer requirements. The company has been run by owner Sven Kroner since January 2016 and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
