WPC WärmepumpenCenter AG was founded in early 2014 in Worb by René Steiner, Jörg Etter and Fritz Minder, who together brought more than 70 years of industry experience in the field of heat pumps. The team of more than 20 specialists provides comprehensive services related to heat pump systems: analysis, conception, planning, design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and service for simple and complex systems in new and existing buildings. As a full-service provider for heating renovations, the company replaces existing oil heating systems with air-to-water or brine-to-water heat pumps and additionally offers photovoltaic integration, groundwater treatment and smart home solutions. Through its UML Messtechnik division, the company performs temporary measurements, including flow (ultrasonic), temperature, pressure, humidity, current, voltage, power and compressed air, as well as COP measurements and consumption analyses for system optimisation. Since its founding, well over 1,000 heat pumps have been installed, with reference projects in residential buildings, agriculture and residential and commercial properties. All shares in the company are privately held, ensuring short decision-making paths and a long-term oriented business policy.
