About Zapf Engineering
Zapf Engineering is an engineering office based in Abu Dhabi (UAE) that provides structural planning and development services for biogas plants, membrane and cable structures, storage tanks as well as industrial energy and process plants. The service portfolio includes form-finding and structural verification of biogas membrane systems, structural calculations and FEM analyses, detail engineering with production-ready cutting data, as well as integrated project planning and technical advisory. The material focus is on membrane and textile materials, steel and glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP); a technical focus is the fire-resistant, corrosion-resistant GRP Full-Contact Floating Roof technology for storage tanks, which is designed for prefabricated segments up to tank diameters of approx. 32 m. The founder and management are Gunnar Zapf (CEO & Head of Engineering) and Kejda Hajnaj (Co-Founder & Strategic Director) with over 20 years of experience in oil & gas technologies. Customers include, among others, BP Ruhr Oel GmbH, Formfinder Software GmbH and Daedler GmbH.
