About us
ZCK-Zuschnittcenter u. Faserverbundtechnik GmbH & Co. KG from Kulmbach manufactures components made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for industries such as motorsport, automotive, orthopedics, and aerospace, as well as for technical and design parts. Its service portfolio covers the entire process: 3D scanning, design, CNC milling of master models and direct tools made of Uriol or aluminum, production of CFRP tools from prepreg, fabric cutting on a cutter machine, laminating with CFRP prepreg, curing in the autoclave, painting, and trimming & fitting. Two autoclaves are available – "Big Red" with 2.4 m diameter and 4 m length as well as a smaller unit with 1.2 m diameter and 2 m length; curing is carried out at up to 7 bar and 140 °C. With the in-house manufactured CFRP tools, around 100 parts can be reproduced. The company produces both prototypes and series parts and is registered in the commercial register of the Bayreuth district court (HRA 3305); in addition, ZCK-Faserverbund GmbH operates under its own name (HRB 8076, Bayreuth district court).
