Zimmerei - Dachdeckerei Markus Munker is a craft business founded in 1951, based in Siebeneichen near Sulzbach-Rosenberg in the Bavarian Upper Palatinate. The third-generation family business combines carpentry and roofing under one roof. Production includes the cutting and assembly of roof structures and agricultural buildings from round timber and structural timber, impregnation of the wood in the company's own dipping plant, as well as the execution of new buildings, extensions, halls, tool sheds, garages, carports, terraces, fences and balconies. In the roofing sector, re-roofings, renovations, roof insulation, roof coverings with roof tiles, bitumen, roofing felt and plastic membranes (PVC/EPDM) as well as metal roofing work, gutters and snow guards are carried out. The range of services is complemented by asbestos renovation, roof window and interior finishing as well as the preparation of planning documents for new buildings, extensions and balconies. Customers are primarily private builders and agriculture in the region.

Company History
- 1951
Company founded by master carpenter Georg Munker; cutting and assembly of roof structures and agricultural buildings on the storage site of the Praun sawmill (Fürstmühle) in Rosenberg.
- 1983
Rudolf Munker passes the master craftsman examination in carpentry at the Federal Trade School in Kassel.
- 1988
Expansion to include roofing; takeover of the company by Rudolf Munker; relocation of the cutting and assembly area to Siebeneichen; purchase of a terrain forklift and impregnation/dipping plant.
- 1995–1998
Demolition of the old workshop and storage hall; construction of a new, larger hall predominantly in timber construction.
- 2012
Markus Munker (3rd generation) passes the master craftsman examination in carpentry in Regensburg.
- 2013
Roofing master craftsman examination by Markus Munker in Kassel.
