Zimmerei Stefan Walter GmbH & Co. KG is a craft-based timber construction company headquartered in Otterfing in the Bavarian Alpine foothills. Since its founding in 1996, the 14-member team with three master carpenters has realized building projects in solid timber and timber-frame construction — from planning through prefabrication of timber-frame walls to assembly and handover. The range of services covers the complete turnkey construction of new timber houses, rooftop extensions and penthouse additions in timber-frame construction, annexes and conversions, roof and old-building renovation, classic carpentry work such as roof truss erection, interior fit-out of new buildings, the installation of roof windows, as well as hall construction for commerce, trades and agriculture. Work is carried out using timber as a building material and ecological insulation materials. In addition, the company operates an agricultural contracting business offering mowing, swathing, baling, slurry and manure spreading, as well as the brokerage and sale of hay, straw and pellets. Through the Environmental and Climate Pact of Bavaria, the company is committed to ecological sustainability.
