About the zWe corporate group
zWe Ingenieure GbR was founded in 2001 by Dipl.-Ing. André Winkler and Uwe Schwill in Wismar and is the core company of the zWe corporate group comprising the divisions zWe Ingenieure, zWe Projekt GmbH and zWe Recycling GmbH & Co. KG. The core business is wind energy: the group provides engineering services in mechanical engineering and civil engineering, from project development and planning of wind farms to building permit management. Another field of activity is the recycling of high-quality materials from installations in the renewable energy sector. Through zWe Projekt GmbH, the group also implements project companies and a PV charging station system with battery storage for climate-neutral mobility. International activities exist, among others as the German partner of New Energy Plus Penza Ltd. in Russia and activities in Vietnam and Iran. The headquarters are located at Alter Holzhafen 3 in Wismar, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

- 2019
Schönberg wind farm with 10 Enercon wind turbines under construction as a result of the planning work; first building permit in Germany for the Zenia 30 small wind turbine (Kavelstorf, Dummerstorf near Rostock).
- 2020
Foundation of New Energy Plus Penza Ltd. in Russia with zWe as German partner (managing director André Winkler); membership in the Russian Wind Energy Association RAWI; EU-funded PV charging station project in Wismar city centre.
- 2021
Completion of the EU-funded mobility project: integration of a battery storage system into the PV charging station system of zWe Projekt GmbH (funded via Landesförderinstitut M-V / ERDF).
