About ZWP Anlagenrevision
ZWP Anlagenrevision GmbH is a testing laboratory specialized in non-destructive materials testing (NDT) headquartered in Beckingen in the Saarland. Founded in 1975 as ZWP GmbH, the focus was initially on conventional NDT methods for testing weld seams and surfaces. Today the service portfolio includes visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT) as well as non-destructive testing using electromagnetic ultrasound, including the PIPEflux method for pipelines and BetoFLUX for prestressed concrete masts. Further areas are lighting mast surveying, structural stability testing, floodlight mast testing, mast refurbishment as well as structural calculation and documentation. Around 30 employees from testing technology and administration perform more than 100,000 tests annually, with test results certified for up to 20 years. The company, accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, is a subsidiary of TÜV Saarland and has been a partner company of the Fraunhofer Institute IZFP since 1990. Customers come from municipalities, commerce and trade, energy supply, process industry as well as the chemical industry and power plants.

Tested Materials
Visual testing
Initial inspection of components and steel structures to identify possible weak points.
Magnetic particle testing
Detection of surface defects on ferromagnetic materials via the stray flux of magnetizable particles.
Dye penetrant testing
Detection of surface defects in all material types through capillary action of the testing fluid.
Ultrasonic testing (pulse-echo method)
Detection of planar defects such as cracks or bonding defects in metallic materials.
Radiographic testing (through-transmission)
Imaging method for depicting density differences; mandatory for welded joints of thin-walled components.
Electromagnetic ultrasound
Non-destructive testing, among others for pipelines (PIPEflux) and prestressed concrete masts (BetoFLUX).
PAS-Inspect
Special testing during radiographic testing.
Steel
Material for steel structures, weld seams and pipelines in the testing sector.
Concrete (prestressed concrete)
Tested with BetoFLUX on prestressed concrete masts of transport infrastructure.
Wood
Testing of wooden masts using the HOMAtest method.
